Welcome to our 2015 Camp listings!  We are please to bring you some featured, local camps including karate, theater, and sports camps!  Plus we've included the town and recreation camps. With the large variety of ages and interests, we hope you're able to find something for everyone in your family.

Bright Horizons
This year, we are offering two camps for a summer of adventure, exploration and good old fashioned fun. Camp runs for the months of July and August. Summer Camp at Bright Horizons offers families convenient and safe programs with experienced staff and the flexibility to meet parents’ expectations.

Camp Herrlich Summer Day Camp: 
program is designed to provide campers with a safe and fun camp experience while they develop a sense of cooperation and independence. Camp Herrlich's 156 acres offers children a wealth of enriching experiences with a variety of activities. It encompasses two lakes, fields, streams, swamp and forest crossed with hiking trails. Campers will embrace the great outdoors and learn to appreciate and respect all aspects of camp life.  Favorite activities include Frog Catching, Fishing, Boating, Swimming, High Ropes and Zipline, and Music.  We are a truly traditional camp so you can expect dirty and happy kids at the end of every day!  NEW for Summer 2015 - Artists in Residence!  Choreographer Nikki Sanders Siriani from Seven Star School of Performing Arts will be teaching Hip Hop Dance during Week 6 and Musical Theater Dance during Week 7.  Filmmaker Stephanie Schleicher from the H. G. Fairfield Arts Media Workshop will be making films with our campers during Week 9.

Camp Invention: 
Camp Invention - where BIG ideas become the next BIG thing! Local educators lead a week of hands-on activities for children entering grades 1-6 who will investigate circuits, disassemble household appliances and have a chance to examine science and technology concepts during team-building exercises.

Carmel Nursery School: 
Our Summer Program is run by CNS teachers and additional staff.  There is always adult supervision in all areas.  It is a fun way to continue a routine in a relaxed, fun environment.  Includes academic review for those entering kindergarten.

Developing Artists: 
Students will take a daily acting ensemble class, while creating and rehearsing their own original play, culminating in an outstanding performance at the end of their two-week session. In addition, professional guests will be brought in to host specialized workshops, including The 4 Elements of Hip Hop, Movement, Playwriting, Filmmaking, Auditioning, Working on Broadway, The Business of Acting, Voice, and more.  Admission to the camp is by interview only.

Hudson Valley Renegades
3 Different Camps to choose from ages 6-14. 

Hudson Valley Shakespeare Camp:  A creative, process-based theater camp for children ages 8-16 with an interest in the performing arts.

Karate Camp with Just for Kicks: 
Choose from up to 4 special themed weeks (Star Wars, Nerf Wars, Color Wars, Ninja Turtles, and Sports) with martial arts instruction, ice cream, pizza parties, crafts, and more.  Grades K-5th.

Spark Media Project: Spark Media Project (formerly Children’s Media Project) is a non-profit Arts and Education Organization that specializes in the Media Arts workshops and summer camps. 

The Goddard School of Wappingers Falls: The Goddard School’s summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, one-of-a-kind and fun experiences for your child every day!
