Every year we look forward to March, not only because that means Spring is almost here, but because that means it is MAPLE SYRUP time in the Hudson Valley!! We love, love, love the pancake breakfast festivities at many local maple farms in the area. There are so many we could not possibly get to them all but we highly recommend Niese's Maple Farm in Putnam Valley. We have been going there for at least 4 years now and already have the dates on our calendar for this coming March.
Many other local maple farms offer free visits during "Maple Weekend" this year those weekends are March 21-22 and 28-29 10am-4pm each day.
